Switch Lite Coral

UPDATE: Nintendo have announced that the Coral color variations of the Switch will be coming to North America on April 3.

Original story follows:

The Nintendo Switch Lite came out last year to much fanfare. The revision of Nintendo’s latest system was handheld focused for those who only want to take the Switch on the go. It also helped to keep the sales of the system steady. People also loved all the different colors the system came in, originally coming in three bright variants. Now it seems that Nintendo is ready to bring another out to market.

As announced by the company, the Coral color (as seen above) will join the Turquoise, Gray, and Yellow color choices. As you can see, it actually fits quite nicely with the current crop of options, fitting right into the middle.

As of now, the new color for the Switch Lite has only been announced for Japan. Pre-orders will go live on March 7th, and the official release will be March 20th. There’s no word yet on when the variant will come to other regions, but there’s been speculation the coronavirus outbreak could lead to Switch shortages, so it’s possible that could play a role. We’ll keep you updated.
