If you’re worried that you won’t get many cool attachments for Battlefield 3; you can rest easy because Alan Kertz who works for DICE mentions that, Battlefield 3 indeed features a lot of scopes and other attachments.

There are a large variety of scopes with different levels of magnification.

Now, attachments are incredibly important in a war game like Battlefield 3, so its good to know that DICE are indeed taking it seriously.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 featured a lot of attachments and scopes with different levels of magnifications but Battlefield 3 seems a massive improvement over it in many ways.

Also a funny thing came to light. You can actually blow up your planes and helicopters if you hit a wire. kertz admitted that the nifty little destruction feature is in which shows their dedication to small details.

He said this in a response to a fan who asked whether planes and helicopters can be blown up or not. Another interesting thing he revealed is that wounded players can be finished off, but it also depends on how much wounded they are and from what range.

“Wounded players can be finished off sure. Depends how wounded and what range.”

Alan Kertz has been very helpful in letting out interesting information about the game, not critical information, mind you.

Are you looking forward to the destruction physics and the amount of attachments and scopes that will be available to you when you play Battlefield 3? Tell us in the comments section below.
