Rainbow Six Siege

When it comes to the the live service game concept that’s risen over the last few years, there’s been some hits and some really big misses. The whole idea of live service (or GaaS) is still in those early stages and companies are still somewhat stumbling around getting it right. But one company that has really managed to ace it is Ubisoft. If you have any doubt, you can get the weekend to play their Rainbow Six Siege.

Siege infamously launched in a less than great state, but has slowly built itself up into a great shooter. The game will also get a free weekend, which will start a little early this Thursday. Like often with these free weekends, all of your progress will be carried over to the game if you decide you like enough to buy it.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The free trial will begin June 11th and will run up until June 14th on all platforms.
