For Honor Marching Fire

For Honor is a game that has kept up a strong playerbase for years since its launch, thanks to a constant stream of updates by the developers and a community that just keeps coming back for more. Given the game’s success and ongoing nature, you’d have expected that Ubisoft would want to take it forward with them into next-gen. In a new update on the game’s official website, that’s exactly what Ubisoft have announced.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X, For Honor will run at 4K resolution, while on Xbox Series S, the game will target 1080p. On all consoles, the game will have improved water reflections, improved distance level of detail, improved shadow resolution, and improved texture filtering.

All of your progress will carry over across generations, and this next-gen upgrade will, of course, be free for anyone who already has the game. Meanwhile, Ubisoft will also be releasing another update for the game in December, in time for the beginning of its next season, that will add 60 FPS gameplay.

Currently, For Honor is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
