After a brief delay, Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends Mobile will be releasing in select regions starting today. Said regions include Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Singapore, and the Philippines. This limited release will continue throughout Spring with more updates and content added in the final version.
In the meantime, Respawn and developer Lightspeed and Quantum Studios will be using this release to test various things like backend infrastructure, matchmaking, progression and more. Legends like Bloodhound, Wraith, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder and so on are playable. Modes include Battle Royale on World’s Edge, Team DeathMatch, 3v3 Arenas, Ranked Battle Royale and Mini Battle Royale.
Progress will be reset after the limited release wraps, participants can still earn badges, weapon charms and a beta banner frame that carry over into the worldwide release.
