During the recent Xbox and Bethesda Games showcase, studio Interior/Night announced a release date for As Dusk Falls. Announced by CEO and creative director Carline Marchal, As Dusk Falls will be coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S on July 19. The game will also be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass on release.

As Dusk Falls is a cinematic adventure game, with a focus on storytelling. The game involves players taking on the roles of people caught in a robbery in 1998 gone wrong in a small town in Arizona, and spiralling out from there.

The game’s story presents players with the question of whether they can break free of the characters’ family’s toxic influence, and what the players would be willing to sacrifice for the ones they love. As Dusk Falls follows the stories of two families.

As Dusk Falls will feature co-op multiplayer with up to 8 players either locally, online, or a mix. It makes use of a companion app on smartphones to help facilitate the multiplayer mode, allowing players to vote for choices.
