Disney and Marvel Games Showcase Announced for D23

Disney has announced its Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, set to take place on September 9 during the D23 Expo 2022. Hosted by Kinda Funny’s Blessing Adeoye Jr, the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase will feature a digital event as well as a live in-person event.

The showcase will be available to watch digitally on the YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook channels for Disney and Marvel.

While Disney hasn’t revealed exactly what we can expect from the games showcase, the company has stated that we will get to see new content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games.

Games like Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will also get new reveals, and Marvel is set to unveil a new ensemble game developed by Skydance New Media.

Marvel’s Midnight Sun, one of the game set to be showcased at D23, recently got delayed to later in fiscal year 2023. The game is set to come to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
