The System Shock remake keeps resurfacing every once in a while with a new trailer, and developer Nightdive Studios brought another one of those to the recent Future Games Show Gamescom 2022 showcase.

The terrifying and malevolent AI SHODAN is, of course, a crucial fixture of anything and everything to do with System Shock, and the artificial intelligence takes centerstage in remake’s newest trailer. It also offers a decent look at gameplay, showcasing various locations and environments that fans of the original should find familiar, as well as glimpses of combat and various weapons and enemies. Check out the trailer below.

System Shock is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC- and no, it still doesn’t have a release date. Back in December last year, it was announced that the game would launch sometime in 2022, while Nightdive said earlier this year that its development was nearing completion, so hopefully we’ll know more soon enough.
