Last week saw Pokemon Scarlet and Violet debuting on top of Famitsu’s weekly charts for hardware and physical software sales in Japan, with the game selling over 2.5 million physical copies in the region at release. Unsurprisingly, this week’s charts, as released by Famitsu, see the new RPG duo still comfortably holding on to the top spot, with a total of over 577,000 units sold in its second week.

None of the games in the top 10 of the software charts this week are new releases, which means multiple evergreen sellers like Minecraft, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Nintendo Switch Sports occupy positions in the charts. Meanwhile, Splatoon 3 continues to enjoy strong sales, coming in at second place with nearly 40,000 units sold. Interestingly, Horizon Forbidden West reenters the top 10, selling over 10,000 units.

On the hardware front, all consoles have seen healthy sales. The Nintendo Switch sees a slight dip from the numbers it posted last week, but is still comfortably the bestselling system, moving over 156,000 units. Lifetime sales of the Nintendo Switch have now exceeded 27 million units in Japan. The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, meanwhile, have seen jumps over last week’s sales, selling over 50,000 units and over 11,000 units respectively.
