Modern Warfare 3 to sell 6 million units on day 1- Analyst

Posted By | On 08th, Nov. 2011

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now out and has been getting some awesome reviews. Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia believes the game will sell just as well, if not better, predicting that the game will sell an astounding 6 million copies in its first day on the market and will grown 10% over Black Ops’ record.

He also predicted that the sales will total 18 million units in the December quarter.

“We expect MW3 to grow 10% versus last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, which has sold through more than 25 million units life-to date,” Bhatia told Industry Gamer. “We expect 5.5M-6.0M unit sales of MW3 on day 1 and nearly 18M units in the December quarter.”

Those sure are some very impressive figures, but we’re going to have to wait some time to see if they actually turn out to be true.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for our full review of Modern Warfare 3, which will be up very soon.
