Namco announces Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai for Wii and DS

Namco Bandai has announced that Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai has been released to manufacturing for Wii and Nintendo DS for retail release on November 22.

“Each of the Power Rangers embody incredible martial arts skills and heroism, but what makes them great is their spirit of teamwork and friendship,” said Vice President of Marketing at Namco Bandai America Carlson Choi. “We’re happy to provide a fun game for the holiday season that captures the adventure and excitement of the legendary Power Rangers series and brings it to a whole new generation of children.”

Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai will allow fans to master the elements of Fire, Water, Sky, Forest, and Earth as they morph into Red, Blue, Pink, Green, or Yellow Rangers.  Martial arts training and fitness combined with team based battles that teach the importance of team work, friendship, and responsibility ready players to battle hordes of Nighlok monsters.  Players can also access hidden areas within levels and get hints on how to defeat the armies of evil while unlocking new Megazord combinations needed to take down the Nighloks once and for all.
