Sonic Frontiers Gets New Trailer Showcasing Gameplay and Story for Final Horizon Update

Sega has released a new trailer for the final major planned update for Sonic Frontiers, dubbed the Final Horizon. The trailer sees the main characters discussing their plan of action, with Sonic himself deciding to take on the four towers of the masters, while is friends look for the Chaos Emeralds. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer for the Final Horizon trailer also gives us a look at what we can expect from the update in terms of gameplay and levels. It shows off quite a bit of unique new content, likely designed to put all of Sonic’s skills to the test. The trailer also gives us a look at the gameplay for Sonic’s friends Amy, Tails, and Knuckles.

Alongside new challenges and playable characters, the Final Horizon update will also feature a completely new story. The update is slated to go live later today, and will be available to all Sonic Frontiers players for free.

The update previously got an animated trailer teasing the story of Knuckles, Amy Rose and Tails. Sonic Frontiers is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. For more details about the game, check out our review.
