One of the most beloved immersive sims of all time, System Shock, got its long awaited remake on PC last year, and the Nightdive Entertainment-developed action-adventure game was on the receiving end of its own fair share of praise as well. Now, those on other platforms will also be able to experience it.

System Shock’s remake is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One as well. On current-gen consoles, the game runs at 4K and 60 FPS, while the game’s console version also launches with the recently released update that added a playable female Hacker, an expanded final boss, a new ending, and more. Read more on that through here, and check out the remake’s console launch trailer below.

In our review of the remake upon its PC launch last year, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “The System Shock remake is the best way to experience the original System Shock in all of its glory. While this is a largely faithful remake, the changes it introduces, like the modernized interface and controls, are a welcome change and make System Shock an absolute joy to play.” Read the full review through here.
