The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch with a couple of some pretty major heavy-hitting games in under a month’s time, but at the same time, its launch lineup is also going to boast several third party ports and re-releases. One of those is going to be Hogwarts Legacy, for which a new gameplay trailer has been uploaded to offer glimpses of how much better its visuals are on the Switch 2 compared to the Switch.
The trailer showcases a number of shots of the game, showing both indoor and outdoor environments, and the difference is, quite frankly, massive. From the lighting and the reflections to the density and detail in the environments and the draw distances, the open world action RPG is looking like a significant technical and graphical leap over the game’s Nintendo Switch version. Hogwarts Legacy is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5.
