Hell is Us has turned plenty of heads in the lead up to its launch, and as that launch draws closer, we continue to get new looks at the game. Recently, at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, developer Rogue Factor and publisher Nacon offered another look at the action-adventure title, with members of the dev team sharing new insight.

Hell is Us has placed plenty of emphasis on its diegetic, organic style of exploration in all that we have seen so far, and we see more glimpses of that here, with the devs talking about how Hell is Us removes the gamified exploration elements that we see so often in modern games, and how the game takes inspiration from the original Legend of Zelda title. Meanwhile, new details are also revealed on some of the many enemies players will lock horns with in Hell is Us, how they were designed, what combat will look like, and more. Check it out below.

Hell is Us is due out on September 4 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a PC demo due out on July 2. Check out its PC requirements through here.
