Bandai Namco has lifted the curtains on Gundam Rogue Orbit, an action-focused title that’s bringing some serious Armored Core vibes to the table.
It’s a bleak world in this one, with humanity seemingly on the back foot against alien monstrosities that are more than capable of taking on the mech suits that humans must use to fend them off. Well, that’s not accounting for The Pilot. You’ve got some big shoes to fill as the announcement trailer’s narrative praises The Pilot’s fighting skills, and the trailer wastes no time in giving us evidence of their prowess.
Your suit comes with some serious firepower at range, and some deadly weapons to take your enemies on with if you’re taking a more personal approach. Thrown in some very cool crown control moves into the mix, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for some combat that could have you taking frequent breaks to give your poor hands a rest. It’s fast, it’s stylish, and the visuals do a good job of bringing it all to life.
