A fresh take on a familiar story is what Tales of Eternia Remastered is all about, and the new opening cinematic is a good way to showcase that.
Set to a very catchy single from Garnet Crow, it’s a pretty cool look at familiar faces and an art style that remains as magical as it was back when the original version came out. Of course, there are hints of the dark places the story can take you to, but we can tell you there’s enough fun and brevity to balance it all out.
We were pretty stoked about revisiting this classic back when the remaster was announced, and nothing’s changed on that front considering all the cool stuff it’s bringing to the table. There’s the Aggressive Linear Battle Motion to look forward to, and destination markers and optional encounters can make things easy if you’re just looking to blaze a path through the main story and spend time with Reid, Farah, and Meredy on an eventful adventure.
