There is a new firmware up for the PS3 which updates it to version 4.10. This firmware contains updates to the browser, and not much more. These updates were anticipated a long time back by a lot of people – because the current browser is terrible.
Oh, and PSN will be updated to SEN (Sony Entertainment Network).
The Internet browser has been improved, which optimizes the display of content and increases the accuracy when viewing page layouts. Some sites that previously could not be correctly displayed, including interactive websites, are now supported with the PS3 system software 4.10.
