There Are No Ghosts at the Grand can feel like different games to different people, since what you’re doing at any given moment can vary wildly. After a look at its latest gameplay overview (courtesy of IGN), we saw a bunch of activities that come with managing the hotel during the day and ridding it of supernatural threats by night.
While those two activities form the core of what you’ll do when you step into protagonist Chris David’s shoes, there’s a whole lot more to take in. You can visit interesting islands, making it a great reason to take your boat out for a spin as often as you can. If you want your feet firmly planted on solid ground, you might get some football practice in, or perhaps kick back with a relaxing game of golf. If you’re feeling cooped up at the Grand and want a break from your managerial duties, the town is fully open to you with shops and mysteries to chase.
Of course, things only get better as your hotel improves, and we can’t wait to use everything as creatively as we can when night falls and the ghosts come out to play. Early access kicks off in December on PC, though it’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S later.
