Videogames are constantly struggling to justify their artistic merit, flying in the face of a generation that often fails to understand them. I normally spend my time attempting to argue against the age old stereotype of gaming being a corruptive and violent influence but, in the spirit of sensationalised media, here are ten gory and gruesome moments in gaming for your perusal.
Helios' Decapitation
A vivid and recent example of taboo breaking violence in modern generation gaming. Kratos, being the well rounded and mature thinker that he is, upon reaching a disagreement with Helios, decides that ripping his head off with his bare hands is the best answer. It may not be the logical conclusion, but it is strangely satisfying to watch.
