Modern Warfare 2 Finally Sees A Double XP Weekend

Posted By | On 21st, Mar. 2010

After the lay offs of the two long time Infinity Ward presidents and glitchfest that still continues in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the game is finally seeing a double experience weekend.  The double XP event begins April 2nd and ends on April 5th to celebrate the release of the Stimulus Map Pack that will be available for the Xbox 360 on March 30th.  One month from March 30th, the map pack will then be available for the PC and Playstation 3.  The map pack will cost 1200 Microsoft Points or $15 and will include five maps with two of them being from Call of Duty 4 (Crash & Overgrown).

There have already been many people that have glitched or hacked their way to 10th prestige in the game on top of the many that are already legitimately 10th prestige which makes the first double XP weekend this late after the games release a little odd.  Regardless, if you need some XP, get to business starting April 2nd.
