Ubisoft to compensate gamers affected by DDOS attack

Posted By | On 28th, Mar. 2010

Ubisoft’s Digital Right Management system isn’t exactly a hit among the gamers. As we all know in retaliation to this some naughty people were able to DDOS’d the Ubisoft servers. Now in order to pacify it’s consumers, Ubisoft are now giving free copies of video games to the affected gamers. These goodies will vary on the time of purchase and the location. The games included are:

  • H.A.W.X.
  • EndWar
  • Shaun White’s Snowboarding
  • Prince Of Persia
  • Heroes Over Europe.
  • People who bought the orginal Assassins Creed 2 can now upgrade to the gold version for free (otherwise $10 more)

Look forward to more news and updates as the DRM saga continues.
