Assassin’s Creed 3 set to become highest pre-ordered Ubisoft title

Posted By | On 30th, Mar. 2012

Ubisoft has announced that the third entry in their super-successful Assassin’s Creed franchise is set to become the most pre-ordered game in the firm’s history.

After just three weeks of being officially revealed, Assassin’s Creed 3 has already crossed the life-to-date pre-order sales of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood in the US. It has been pre-ordered more than Assassin’s Creed Revelations was in the same period of time. In fact, no Ubisoft game has been pre-ordered as much in three weeks as AC3.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is set to cross the total pre-order sales of the most pre-ordered Ubisoft game, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, by E3 this June.

Assassin’s Creed III releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 30. It has also been confirmed for the Wii U, but a release date is as of yet unspecified.

Stay tuned for more info.
