Premium PSN service to be revealed at E3?

Some of you might remember Sony announcing the Premium PSN Service quite a while ago, and you probably wondered what the hell is going on with it.

Well it has recently been rumored by a mysterious source that Sony will unveil the new service at E3, and that it will cost “less than £50 per year”.

It is also said that the service will provide subscribers with a free PSN game per month, with a choice of “two to four” games per month.

“If you work it out, PSN games cost an average of £6-9 each, so over a year you’re basically going to be breaking even,”

This mysterious source mentioned that the premium service will also provide users with a music streaming feature, which will allow you to play music while playing your games (not that its not present at the moment, but number of games who support this feature is limited).

While some of you may be and should be wondering about Cross-Game Chat being available only to subscribers, these rumors appear to be false according to the source.

“I can tell you now, 100 percent, that that’s not the case,”

“there’s nothing in the premium package which will gimp regular PSN users.” Said the source

Well, as always, expect more info on this at Sony’s Press Conference…unless of course somebody can’t hold it anymore and has to take a leak.
