E3 2012: First FIFA 13 Gameplay and football club details announced

Posted By | On 05th, Jun. 2012

See the all-new FIFA 13 gameplay in action. Including fluid Attacking AI and enhanced Player Impact Engine, plus the game-changing innovations of FIFA 13 1st Touch Control and Complete Dribbling.

FIFA 13 is going to be another mammoth game from EA this year, and considering these latest details we have, it looks like the franchise will continue to grow.

The graphics of FIFA 13 will be hugely improved over the previous FIFA games, as EA is using a new engine called dimensional imaging.

Football club details:

Returning FIFA 12 players will carry their Football Club Level and XP into FIFA 13 so their season starts as strong as it finishes, according to EA.

“They will also receive a special bonus in the new EA SPORTS Football Club Catalogue. Fans will now be earning Football Club Credits to unlock items such as kits, special celebrations, virtual pro attribute boosts, Career Mode super scout credits, FIFA 13 Ultimate Team coin boosts, and extra matches in Head-to-Head Seasons mode from the Catalogue. Plus, fans can build their status among the massive FIFA online community as they climb 100 levels.

“For the first time, players will be able to directly share their FIFA experience with their friends on Facebook through EA SPORTS Football Club. Fans will be able to share custom messages with friends and publish their recent news, including games won, players signed, or items redeemed in the Catalogue, directly from their console.”

Kinect voice commands:

  • Voice Commands – Administer your squad the way real-world managers organize their clubs during a match. Use voice commands to instantly activate tactics, change formations, or initiate substitutions, and enjoy the strategic advantage of managing your club without pausing the game.
  • On Pitch Commands – Think, react and play like a professional footballer utilising voice commands on the pitch in Be A Pro mode. Shout for a pass, send a teammate on a run or call for a shot the way real footballers communicate on the pitch.
  • Referee Feedback – Referees and linesmen are influenced by what they hear. Coarse language directed towards an official may be mentioned by commentators or influence a referee’s strictness and decision-making around fouls and bookings. Plus, storylines will develop in Career Mode when players and managers let their emotions get the better of them.

Thanks, Gamershell.
