Media Create: Dragon Quest’s strong software sales help 3DS breach 100k

The 3DS really outperformed all other systems on the market this week in Japan, selling almost twice as much as the 55,212 units it sold last week. Dragon Quest Monsters Terry’s Wonderland 3D, a remake of the original Dragon Quest Monsters game, sold 513,183 units, over 450k units more than Dark Souls, which came in at the second position.

This helped the 3DS sell an impressive 101,075 units, outselling the second highest selling system for the week, the PS3, 7:1.
