Adam West Returns To Batman In Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

Holy revelations, Batman!

Batman may be known as the brooding Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, but there was a time, way back in the 1960s, when he was known for his goofy camp and hilarious over the topness, thanks to the TV show where he was played by Adam West. The subsequent movies, cartoons, and comics were all truer to the original intended spirit of Batman, but the TV show remains an indelible part of the character’s history, and of modern pop culture.

Warner Bros. announced at Comic-Com that Adam West will be returning to voice Batman in a goofy new 1960s Batman mode that shows up in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. West joins an already studded all star cast of voice actors for the game, which includes Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham and more.

They have also released a new behind the scenes trailer- you can see it above.

Lego Batman 3 is due out later this year on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
