Alan Wake, Control Developer Teases New Project

I know what you're going to say, but let's be honest, it's probably not that.

Remedy’s games may not always be mass market successes, but they are almost always worth playing through, especially if you are the kind of player who enjoys a good, single player story driven title. Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and now Control (which apparently made its mark on critics, if not players) have all been extremely great, compelling games.

And Remedy might already be at work on their next project. No less than Sam Lake, the creative director at Remedy, and the writer on all those wonderful games I named above, has posted a tweet teasing that he has started work on his next game.

Of course, the obvious thing to want is Alan Wake 2, especially since Remedy has expressed interest in doing that in the past, but current indications are that that is off the table. It’s unlikely this is a sequel at all, actually – it is presumably a new IP.

Whatever it is, it will almost certainly be worth playing. Again. I can’t wait for the official reveal.
