Alien: Isolation Goes Gold, Vignette Questions Your Chances of Survival

Running clearly doesn't work so well.

The Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation has gone gold, which means all development has wrapped and the game is in the process of disc manufacturing and distribution. To celebrate the same, Sega has released a new vignette trailer – one of nine planned – to celebrate the game going gold and it shows a short snippet of gameplay. The theme is simple: How will you survive?

As the vignette shows us, it’s not a simple matter of just walking away when a Xenomorph is tearing shit up. Alien: Isolation takes inspiration from the very first Alien flick, directed by Ridley Scott, and focuses more on survival horror and explanation than out-and-out combat. This probably means you’ll die a lot but, you know, happy thoughts and all that

Alien: Isolation releases on October 7th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC worldwide. Stay tuned for more information as approach the game’s release.
