Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 3 is Now Live

The game receives its third free season, adding in a new playable class, new weapons, customization options, and more.

Cold Iron Studios’ 4-player co-op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite has been out for a while, and even though it may not be the biggest game out there, the developers are not yet done with supporting it. Its third season of content has now launched on all platforms. Check out the trailer down below.

Season 3, called “Lancer”, is a free update for the game, which brings in various new additions, such as a new playable class, the titular Lancer. The Lancer comes with a shotgun and a heavy machine gun, and abilities such as onslaught and particle lance, which shoots a beam of laser to decimate aliens.

Additionally, new weapons such as the X45 Bombard Flechette Rifle, the X1 Fireball, and the M41E4 Heavy Pulse Rifle have also been added to the game. The update also brings in the option to have multiple loadout presets for various situation, and new challenge cards and cosmetics.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
