In short: More of what we already don't know.

Allison Road

Lilith Ltd. shocked us last week – which wasn’t easy given the influx of E3 announcements – by revealing that its horror title Allison Road had been cancelled. It cited plans between publisher, in this case Team17, and developer being different but didn’t explicitly say why the game had been cancelled.

And according to publisher Team17 in response to VG247, “After a long consideration between Lilith owner Chris Kesler and ourselves, we have reached a mutual agreement to end our collaboration on publishing Allison Road under Team17’s Games label.

“We love the concept and value Chris talent highly, but sometime things pan out differently than expected as game development and publishing have so many layers of complexity. The whole team here wish all the best to Chris on his current and future projects for which, before being a business partner, we are also a fan.”

There hasn’t been much information provided so we’ll have to wait in the coming months (or years) to really learn more. What are your thoughts on Allison Road‘s cancellation? Let us know in the comments.
