For a free game, Planetside 2 is pretty darn good, and it has a lot of offer. There is an amazing amount of content, which includes maps which are pretty vast, and there are also three different factions which can keep you busy for a while. Now be aware that there are in-game purchases, but for the most part you should be good to handle any enemy with the weapons provided to you from the start.
