Like with most popular franchises, advertisers wanted to cash in on the success of popular brands and Zelda was no different. Overly smart market executives created the Nintendo Cereal System, each box was divided into Mario and Zelda sides. As you would expect, most market and PR people try to market absolute BS to the public. The Nintendo Cereal was marketed as a healthy nutritious breakfast, even though it was loaded with sugar that put, Red bull to shame.
