Apple takes the No. 1 spot as the biggest technology company in the world

After years of Microsoft being the biggest technology company in the world, their spot has finally been taken, by Apple.

Apple became No.1 after Microsoft’s had $219bn, while apple came on top with $222bnn.

Even with this change, Microsoft still makes the most profit, due to their most recent annual net profit, Microsoft makes $14.6bn, while Apple only $5.7bn.

“It’s a long game, we have good competitors… we too are a very good competitor.” said Steve Ballmer during an interview with BBC.

“We are executing very well and that is going to lead to great products and great success.” he added.
