FAST TRAVELLING
The thing about Ark: Survival Evolved that seems maybe a little daunting is the fact that it’s got a very unforgiving fast travel system. Any beds that you build will be respawn points, but these will serve as fast travel points too. Sleeping bags can be used as a fast travel point only once, and while a regular bed (once built, of course) is a more permanent solution, that too has a cooldown period. Fast travelling between two points also forces you to drop all the items you’re carrying, so be smart about what points you make use of and when you make use of them.
