ARK: Survival Evolved’s long awaited Xbox One launch hasn’t been the smoothest- the game managed to be an enormous hit on the Xbox Preview program, garnering more players than even the Steam Early Access version did. The flip side? Too many players, not enough server capacity. You know where this is going.

That issue seems to be addressed now, to some degree- the developers seem to have added some server capacity to the Xbox One version to deal with these problems.

“Xbox Survivors,” the developers said in a tweet, “we hear your requests, and we are adding more servers tonight! Thank you for your continued support and patience.” The new servers seem to be already live, so you should stop having problems soon.

ARK: Survival Evolved is available right now on PC and Xbox One. On Xbox One, the game is available as part of the Xbox Preview Program, which means you can try it for free before you commit yourself to buying it (undoubtedly one of the many things that has caused the influx of players).
