The presentation will be much shorter than previously expected, and it also won't showcase any new footage for the upcoming mech action game.

Armored Core fans have been begging for FromSoftware to revive the mech action franchise for a long time, and recently, the developer confirmed that that is indeed going to be its next project. Shortly after its announcement, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was also confirmed to be getting a sizeable showing at the upcoming Tapei Game Show on February 3- though it seems that presentation is going to be very different from what was originally said.

Previously, it was said that Armored Core 6 would receive an hour-long presentation at the event, with new information also set to be revealed. However, as spotted by @Okami13_ on Twitter, the event’s official website has since been updated, and it now looks like the presentation is only going to be 20 minutes long.

On top of that, it seems like no new information is going to be revealed either, nor will there be a Q&A session with the audience. The presentation will consist only of a 20-minute pre-recorded interview with Yasuke Ogura, the game’s producer.

How long it will be before we get a proper showing of the game, especially with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco having showed no gameplay footage so far, remains to be seen- though clearly it won’t be happening at Tapei Game Show.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is set to launch sometime this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
