You can play ARMS ahead of its release next week (and the week after) during its global public beta, the amazingly named Global Test Punch. However, obviously, not everything will be available to you during the course of this demo- in fact, you will only be able to play as seven of the characters from ARMS‘s roster.
These characters whom you can play as are Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Master Mummy, Ninjara, Mechanica, Min Min, and Helix. The three new characters that were announced earlier this week during the ARMS specific Nintendo Direct are not going to be playable it seems, sadly enough.
Still, that’s a good smattering of characters, and it should give all players enough of a feel for the different playstyles that this game will offer. ARMS is due out exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on June 16, with its beta being held the next week, and the week after. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game.
