Assassin’s Creed 3 News: Larger focus on Desmond than ever before

Posted By | On 03rd, Apr. 2012

Desmond’s role has been growing gameplay-wise and story-wise with each successive instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Except for Revelations, of course. But with the story coming to an end and this being the last time Desmond makes an appearance, he’s going to have more screen time than he’s ever had in the past, Ubisoft says.

“All I can say about Desmond’s story is you’re going to experience more Desmond than you’ve ever had before,” Ubisoft’s lead writer Matt Turner told CVG. “It’s a big part of our story and I don’t really want to give too many details away because I want people to experience what that is. But rest assured, you’re going to see a lot of Desmond. More so than in any past game.”

Assassin’s Creed 3 releases later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U. Stay tuned for continued coverage.
