As of today Ubisoft has officially announced the release the graphically overhauled version of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. Titled simply, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, the new and improved version of the game will feature completely redone graphics, remastered audio, and several entirely new in-game missions which will further advance the story behind Assassin’s Creed III.
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation’s was the first game in the series to feature a female protagonist, and was such was largely popular and well-received in its PS Vita-exclusive release. Some of the main complaints, however, were that the game tripped on itself in its hasty attempt to deliver on the narrative, and the story quality was compromised in the process. Hopefully the all new story elements will remedy this complaint.
This HD remake however, will release across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. The transition from a handheld exclusive to a full on console and PC release truly speaks volumes to the increase in quality and in-game content that we can expect from Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD.
