Assassin’s Creed Origins rethinks the franchise and its conventions entirely- the game is now an open world action RPG, and it looks like Ubisoft is looking to channel the storytelling of The Witcher 3, and the systemic world of Breath of the Wild with the upcoming game.

Of course, a lot of questions remain yet about the title- and posting on Twitter, Ashraf Ismail, the director of the game, answered some of them. For instance, he confirmed that the level cap for the game will be 40. Also, much like in Zelda, you will be able to tame animals, although it looks like there will be an ability specific to it. He also confirmed that camera control sensitivity can be tuned and changed in the options.

These are, of course, not the big questions we had about Origins– but it’s good to get reassurances about some of the smaller doubts and concerns about the game fans may have had. Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on October 27 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
