Assassin’s Creed Origins Retailer Leak Details Special Edition Of The Game

So many leaks...

The hilarious trend of everything Ubisoft does leaking continues, as leading US retailer Target has apparently mistakenly put out pre-order cards for Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ubisoft’s (officially) unannounced upcoming new game, early. And these cards seem to give us a surprising amount of information about the game.

The card confirms, for instance, the Egypt setting, which has been heavily rumored for a very long time now. It also seems to confirm a ‘Gold Edition’ for the game, which comes with a steelbook, a ‘deluxe pack’, the season pass, and apparently, a bonus mission. Sadly, none of that actually tells us much, except for an empirical but devoid of information listing of what the Gold Edition will actually have.

Sadder still, we don’t get a release date via this card. But hey, where there is smoke, there is fire, and Assassin’s Creed Origins is practically an inferno at this point. Suffice it to say, this game certainly exists, and we will be seeing more of it come E3.
