Assassin’s Creed Origins Uses Dynamic Resolution On Consoles

The game will output at the highest resolution it can while also making sure to maintain a steady frame rate.

Assassin’s Creed Origins looks beautiful, and while that is partly thanks to its gorgeous setting of ancient Egypt, it also looks like Ubisoft have worked quite hard on the technical aspects of the game. So what exactly are its technical specifications going to be when it launches on consoles later this month?

Assassin’s Creed Origins director Ashraf Ismail recently spoke about the game in great detail in an interview with Resero , and one of the things he spoke about was what resolution the game will be rendered at on both the PS4 and the Xbox One, as well as all their variants (the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X). Ismail has confirmed that Assassins Creed Origins will use dynamic resolution on all the consoles. It will, according to him, push all the consoles to their maximum and will output at the highest resolution it can while also making sure to maintain a steady frame rate. That sounds like a great thing, so here’s hoping that Ubisoft actually sticks to the promises it’s making.

Meanwhile, Ismail also confirmed that as soon as the Xbox One X launches on November 7, Assassin’s Creed Origins on all Xbox One systems will automatically receive an update that will allow it to be rendered at even higher resolutions.

You can watch the full interview through the link abobve- Ismail speaks about a lot of stuff, and if you’re looking forward to the game, there’s some stuff in there that might be of interest to you. Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on October 27 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
