Assassin’s Creed Origins Xbox One X Update Will Come Early November

Hopefully before the One X itself launches.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is slated to be one of the headlining showcase games for the Xbox One X, Microsoft’s superpowered Xbox One that is going to be the most powerful console ever made when it launches in November. The game will be getting an Xbox One X enhancements update to fully tap into the extra power in Microsoft’s system- and today, Ubisoft confirmed just when we can expect that update to come.

In a post on the game’s website, detailing the impending launch, and the updates that will follow thereafter, Ubisoft confirmed that the update for the Xbox One X version of the game will come in early November, and will include 4K and Dolby Atmos support for Xbox One X and support of HDR displays for all platforms.

Hopefully, early November in this case means enough in advance of the console’s release that players can download the update and be ready on time- since it sounds like these Xbox One X patches will be rather hefty downloads. Assassin’s Creed Origins launches this Friday for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Xbox One X launches on November 7.
