The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was relatively stable and bug free, compared to just how bad Assassin’s Creed PC ports have been in the past. As a matter of fact, the original Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, and especially Assassin’s Creed Unity were all famously bad on PCs. Syndicate, by comparison, has been mostly smooth sailing.
Of course, it’s still a Ubisoft game, still Assassin’s Creed, still a late PC port, and still a large game, with a whole lot of moving parts, so it does have its fair share of issues. The most notable one of these? Subpar SLI scaling. The game simply cannot properly scale up to dual, or more, GPU configurations. For a lot of people with more sophisticated PC builds, this has been frustrating.
Thankfully, Ubisoft promises that this issue will be addressed in the next patch for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. DSO Gaming reports that Ubisoft will be looking into this problem with the next update for the game.
So, those of you who are Assassin’s Creed fans, and who have dual GPU builds? Hang in there. The update is almost here.
