Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will come screaming into our hearts and minds near the end of the year, and we’re learning about it in bits and pieces until then, such as the return of the hidden blade and its instant kill abilities. Like all Assassin’s Creed titles, this one is going to be big with multiple cities and locations for you do all you Viking stuff in, and it also seems there will be a centralized settlement to go back to where everyone knows your name.

Creative Director Ashraf Ismail shared some concept art of your home in the England territory. He teases that you can spend time just hanging about with some fishing, maybe checking on folks and talking with your war chief to see what the best way to murder is. There’s not much here obviously, but I imagine that this place probably will be something of a safe haven, at least until the baddies come for it inevitably near the endgame. We also know there will be a degree of customization here, so you should be able to make it your own

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is slated for release this holiday season across major platforms, including next generation consoles.
