Kingdom Hearts
When Kingdom Hearts was released many people were taken a back with the game, and the fact that the music really managed to create an experience that was fun and entertaining for them was an added bonus. While the combat and gameplay is certainly meant to be enjoyed, the music plays a vital role in encouraging the player to explore and fall in love with the characters. While Yoko Shimomura composed the soundtrack for the game he set the music which was similar to many Disney’s films. The opening orchestra and ending credits theme were approved and orchestrated by Kaoru Wada and performed by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
