Sonic the Hedgehog
It’s hard not to be taken back to a period where everything was simple and fun. Sonic the Hedgehog was a great game; however the music really managed to drag the player into the story and levels. For many this was one of the first video games they played, and thus the music really cuts straight into the heart of many veteran players. The music was composed by Masato Nakamura, who used Yamaha YM2612 synthesizer and a sound generator to produce a variety of stereo sound effects and music.
