PlatinumGames have plenty of irons in the fire, with multiple games announced, and many others in production that they have not yet spoken about (but are very excited to be working on). The one that’s closest to launch of all their games, though is Astral Chainwhich we haven’t seen too much of so far- well, we’ve seen more now. At their E3 2019 Direct presentation, Nintendo showed off a new trailer for the upcoming action title.

The trailer was a mix of gameplay footage and story focused scenes. The action is looking slick, as you’d expect from a Platinum title, while the environments shown off have that familiar flair too. There’s glimpses of platforming and some ridiculously huge enemies as well- so yeah, it’s a PlatinumGames production, no mistake. The trailer also throws some new light on the story and the main threat that we’ll be going up against in the game. Take a look below.

Astral Chain is out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on August 30- not long left now. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
