That extremely stylish poster you see right there is the very first marketing material for Persona 5, now going up in stores all over Japan. Ahead of TGS next week (and the presumed announcement of the launch date of Persona 5), Atlus has now begun the marketing campaign for Persona 5 in earnest.

The poster was tweeted by some details of the marketing campaign by the Twitter account of Japanese store Genki (the tweet has been since deleted), and translated by @MysticDistance. The original tweet said:

“[Announcement] From September 17 (Thursday) to September 19 (Saturday), the Persona 5 ‘Pursue The Phantom Thief Party’ campaign goes into effect! During this period, please report your findings about the ‘Phantom Thief Party’ by coming to the store. More details next week.”

It is to be imagined that the marketing campaign will be detailed next week, alongside the release date for Persona 5. After nearly two years of waiting since its initial announcement, with not much by way of details, it is good to see the ordeal is finally almost through.

Persona 5 launches exclusively for PlayStation 3 and 4 in Japan and North America this year.
